Isabelle is a bioengineer with a degree from INA P-G, France. She joined RDC Environment in 2008, after more than 10 years at ADEME (France’s Agency for Environment and Energy Management) where she worked on municipal waste, eco-labels and green public procurement.

As Senior Consultant in RDC Environment, her role is to support project engineers in carrying out LCA or waste management studies, in terms of project management, technical and methodological advice and inputs. She is also actively involved in the sales management and tendering of public customers and Extended Producer Responsibility take-back schemes in France.

She has significant expertise in both Life Cycle Analysis and waste management.

She coordinates the development of the French LCA database (Base Impacts ®) with the aim of bringing in environmental labelling of products. She also monitors methodological work on LCA and regularly participates in studies for SCORELCA (standardization, and initial specification of data quality in LCA).

Lastly, she has gained expertise in the textile sector, carrying out benchmarking studies on textile recycling techniques in France and internationally establishing the statement of account for accreditation of EcoTLC (French textile recycling and recovery organization) and leading workshops with all the actors in the textile sector. She also conducted a pilot project for developing benchmarks for the textile sector on the ADEME AFNOR platform.
