RDC Environment and Scalian keep supporting ADEME’s development of Base Empreinte®

RDC Environment, in partnership with Scalian, has been selected to continue supporting ADEME in the development of the Base Empreinte®.

Enhancing Regulatory Compliance and Eco-Design with the Merged IMPACTS® and Carbone® Databases

The Base Empreinte® is the result of the merger between ADEME’s former IMPACTS® and Carbone® databases.

It aims to provide the necessary data for implementing regulatory requirements in France, such as:

• Conducting GHG assessments for organizations
• Informing travelers and freight transport providers about the amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated during transportation

Additionally, it aims to facilitate eco-design initiatives by:

• Updating existing data
• Providing new data covering:
  • New sectors
  • Various environmental issues in addition to contributing to climate change
• Maintaining and continuously developing the Bilan Produit® tool
• Developing a new tool related to ADEME’s “Empreinte Projet” method
